Getting Here from El Segundo

El Segundo is about 12 miles south of us. The 405 is the obvious route and usually the right one, with caveats.

Driving routes

  • I-405 North to I-10 East, exit Robertson or La Cienega — the standard route.
  • Sepulveda Boulevard north to Venice or Washington, then east — better when the 405 is stopped.
  • La Cienega Boulevard north — a long but simple surface route straight to Wilshire.

Twenty-five to forty minutes, with real variance. The 405 northbound is heavy from mid-afternoon onward, so mid-morning appointments make the trip considerably easier.

What South Bay Patients Book

Efficiency

El Segundo has a large aerospace and tech workforce, and the common request is treatment that fits a working schedule. Botox takes fifteen to thirty minutes with no downtime; IV therapy sessions are similarly contained.

Fewer, longer visits

Given the drive, we combine treatments into single appointments wherever it is clinically sensible and favor longer-lasting options — Sculptra, Voluma, or Kybella, which is permanent.

Hormones and energy

Fatigue, poor sleep, and changes in body composition bring a lot of first-time patients through the door. Hormone testing and optimization is a medical question, and it starts with bloodwork rather than a product recommendation.

Why It Matters That a Physician Treats You

Los Angeles has more med spas per square mile than almost anywhere in the country, and the quality range is enormous. At many of them your injector is a technician working from a template, with a supervising physician who is not in the building.

At Modern Aesthetica, Dr. Daniel Moghadam is the founder and medical director, and he performs the treatments himself. That matters most in two situations: when something needs to be judged rather than measured — how much product a particular face can carry, whether a device setting is safe for your skin tone — and in the rare event that something goes wrong and needs to be managed immediately.

It also means you get an honest answer when the treatment you asked for is not the treatment you need. Patients regularly arrive asking for filler and leave with a plan that starts somewhere else.

What El Segundo Patients Book Most

El Segundo Patients Ask

Twenty-five to forty minutes for about 12 miles, with significant variance depending on the 405. The I-405 North to I-10 East is standard. Sepulveda Boulevard north is a workable alternative when the freeway is stopped.

Mid-morning. We open at 10am weekdays, which lets you travel after the northbound morning rush and return before the afternoon build-up on the 405. Friday appointments start at 9am.

Yes, and for South Bay patients we plan it that way. Where clinically appropriate we combine injectables with other treatments in a single appointment and allow extra time, so the drive is worth making once.

Kybella permanently destroys the fat cells it treats. Sculptra lasts two years or more, and Juvederm Voluma up to two years in the cheek. If travel time is a factor, mention it and we will weight recommendations accordingly.

It starts with laboratory testing and a clinical conversation about your symptoms — fatigue, sleep, mood, body composition, libido. Treatment follows from the results rather than being prescribed up front, and it needs periodic monitoring rather than frequent visits.

Yes, initial consultations are complimentary with no obligation to treat the same day.
