Where We Are in Los Angeles

Modern Aesthetica sits at 8907 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 270, in the 90211 zip code — the eastern edge of Beverly Hills, right where it meets the City of Los Angeles. In practice that makes us one of the more centrally reachable aesthetic practices on the Westside.

Wilshire Boulevard is the reason. It runs continuously from the ocean in Santa Monica through Westwood, Beverly Hills, Miracle Mile, Koreatown, and into Downtown. If you live along it, or on a street that crosses it, you can reach us without a freeway.

Approximate drive times

  • Mid-Wilshire / Miracle Mile: 10–15 minutes east on Wilshire
  • Hollywood: 15–25 minutes via La Cienega or Fairfax south
  • Koreatown: 15–25 minutes west on Wilshire
  • Downtown LA: 25–40 minutes driving, or about 20 minutes on the D Line
  • Culver City: 15–25 minutes north on Robertson or La Cienega
  • Silver Lake / Los Feliz: 25–40 minutes via Beverly or Melrose

The Subway Changed This Commute

For decades the honest answer to "how do I get to Beverly Hills without driving" was that you did not. That changed in May, when Metro opened the D Line Extension with three new stations along Wilshire — La Brea, Fairfax, and Wilshire/La Cienega.

The La Cienega station gave Beverly Hills its first passenger rail service since 1954, and it sits a short distance east of our building on the same street. Metro puts the ride from Downtown Los Angeles at roughly twenty minutes — considerably faster and more predictable than driving Wilshire at rush hour.

If you are anywhere along the Wilshire corridor or connected to it, this is now a genuinely viable way to reach us without dealing with traffic or parking at all.

What We Actually Do

Los Angeles has an enormous number of med spas, and the category has become vague. Concretely, we offer:

The unifying thread is that a physician assesses you and a physician treats you. When the honest answer is that a treatment will not achieve what you want, you will hear that instead of a sales pitch.

Why It Matters That a Physician Treats You

Los Angeles has more med spas per square mile than almost anywhere in the country, and the quality range is enormous. At many of them your injector is a technician working from a template, with a supervising physician who is not in the building.

At Modern Aesthetica, Dr. Daniel Moghadam is the founder and medical director, and he performs the treatments himself. That matters most in two situations: when something needs to be judged rather than measured — how much product a particular face can carry, whether a device setting is safe for your skin tone — and in the rare event that something goes wrong and needs to be managed immediately.

It also means you get an honest answer when the treatment you asked for is not the treatment you need. Patients regularly arrive asking for filler and leave with a plan that starts somewhere else.

What Los Angeles Patients Book Most

Los Angeles Patients Ask

We are at 8907 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 270, Beverly Hills, CA 90211 — on the eastern edge of Beverly Hills where it borders the City of Los Angeles. Wilshire Boulevard runs directly past our building, connecting us to Santa Monica in one direction and Downtown LA in the other.

Yes, and this is new. Metro's D Line Extension opened in May with a station at Wilshire/La Cienega — the first passenger rail service in Beverly Hills since 1954 — a short distance east of our building on the same street. Metro estimates about twenty minutes from Downtown Los Angeles, which is often faster than driving.

Roughly twenty minutes on the D Line, or twenty-five to forty minutes driving depending on traffic on Wilshire or the I-10. Since the subway extension opened, a lot of Downtown and Koreatown patients have switched to transit for exactly this reason.

Yes — on-site parking, valet service, and metered street parking on Wilshire. Parking is genuinely straightforward here compared with much of central Los Angeles.

The main difference is who treats you. At many practices your injector is a technician or nurse working under off-site supervision. Here, Dr. Daniel Moghadam — the founder and medical director — performs the treatments himself. The practical effect is that judgment calls about dosing, device settings, and whether a treatment is appropriate at all are made by a physician.

No. Alongside aesthetics we provide hormone replacement and optimization, medically supervised weight loss, IV therapy, and regenerative treatments including PRP for joint pain. A meaningful share of our patients see us for wellness rather than anything cosmetic.
