Getting Here from Venice

Venice sits roughly 8.5 miles southwest of our Wilshire Boulevard office. There is no single perfect route, but there are a few reliable ones.

Driving routes

  • Venice Boulevard east, then north on Robertson or La Cienega — the most straightforward path.
  • National Boulevard east to Robertson north — often lighter than Venice Blvd.
  • I-10 East from Lincoln, exiting at Robertson or La Cienega — fastest outside peak hours.
  • From Marina-adjacent Venice: take Lincoln north to Venice Blvd east.

Allow twenty-five to thirty-five minutes. Avoid late afternoon westbound on the 10, which backs up badly toward the coast.

Parking at our building is on-site with valet available — a meaningful contrast to parking anywhere near Abbot Kinney.

What Venice Patients Look For

Venice has a specific aesthetic culture, and it shapes what patients ask us for.

Undetectable, or nothing

The overwhelming brief from Venice patients is that no one should be able to tell. That is a dosing philosophy more than a product choice: small amounts, placed precisely, reviewed at two weeks. We are comfortable treating lightly and having you return, rather than delivering a result that reads as work.

Skin quality over injectables

Living by the beach means sun. A large share of Venice patients come to us for texture, pigmentation, and collagen loss rather than lines — which means RF microneedling, PRP facials, and EGF microneedling rather than syringes.

Natural and autologous approaches

Venice patients ask more often than most about treatments that use their own biology. PRP uses platelets concentrated from your own blood, with no synthetic material introduced. Sculptra builds your own collagen rather than filling with gel. We are happy to build a plan around that preference — with honest guidance about what those treatments can and cannot achieve.

Why It Matters That a Physician Treats You

Los Angeles has more med spas per square mile than almost anywhere in the country, and the quality range is enormous. At many of them your injector is a technician working from a template, with a supervising physician who is not in the building.

At Modern Aesthetica, Dr. Daniel Moghadam is the founder and medical director, and he performs the treatments himself. That matters most in two situations: when something needs to be judged rather than measured — how much product a particular face can carry, whether a device setting is safe for your skin tone — and in the rare event that something goes wrong and needs to be managed immediately.

It also means you get an honest answer when the treatment you asked for is not the treatment you need. Patients regularly arrive asking for filler and leave with a plan that starts somewhere else.

What Venice Patients Book Most

Venice Patients Ask

Twenty-five to thirty-five minutes for about 8.5 miles. Venice Boulevard east then north on Robertson or La Cienega is the simplest route; National Boulevard is often lighter. The I-10 East is fastest outside peak hours.

Yes, and it is the most common request we get from Venice patients. It comes down to conservative dosing and reviewing results before adding more. We would rather treat lightly and have you return in two weeks wanting a touch more than overshoot — particularly with Botox, which cannot be dissolved the way filler can.

Sun damage shows up as pigmentation, rough texture, and collagen loss, and injectables do nothing for any of it. Depending on what we find, the plan usually involves RF microneedling, EGF microneedling, or PRP — treatments that work on skin quality. These are courses of three to four sessions rather than single appointments.

Yes. PRP uses platelets concentrated from your own blood, so nothing synthetic is introduced. Sculptra stimulates your body to build its own collagen rather than filling with gel, though the product itself is a synthetic polymer that fully dissolves. We will explain honestly what each can and cannot achieve versus conventional filler.

No — we have on-site parking plus valet and metered street parking on Wilshire. Venice patients often mention this as a relief compared with parking near Abbot Kinney or the beach.

Yes, initial consultations are complimentary with no obligation to treat the same day. Given the drive from Venice, many patients use the first visit to map out a plan and then book treatment for a later date.
