Getting Here from Glendale

Glendale is about 13 miles northeast — the longest regular trip among our service areas, and the one where timing matters most.

Driving routes

  • SR-134 West to US-101 South, exit Highland or Santa Monica Blvd, then south — the standard freeway route.
  • Los Feliz Boulevard west to Western or Vermont, then south to Wilshire — better when the 101 is heavy.
  • I-5 South to SR-2 South (Glendale Blvd) toward Silver Lake, then west — useful from south Glendale.
  • Metro: connect to the B Line, then transfer to the D Line for Wilshire/La Cienega.

Plan thirty to forty-five minutes, and avoid the 101 southbound between 7 and 9:30am. Mid-morning and early afternoon are considerably easier.

How We Work with Cross-Town Patients

One visit, planned properly

If you are driving from Glendale we will not have you make the trip twice unnecessarily. Where clinically appropriate we combine treatments into a single appointment and schedule extra time, and we handle follow-up questions by phone rather than requiring another visit.

Treatments that last

For patients travelling further, longevity matters. Sculptra lasts two years or more. Voluma lasts up to two years in the cheek. Kybella is permanent. We will factor travel into which options we recommend.

Hormone care with remote monitoring

Hormone replacement and optimization requires laboratory testing and periodic review rather than frequent in-person visits, which makes it practical for patients who live further out. Bloodwork can often be done closer to home.

Why It Matters That a Physician Treats You

Los Angeles has more med spas per square mile than almost anywhere in the country, and the quality range is enormous. At many of them your injector is a technician working from a template, with a supervising physician who is not in the building.

At Modern Aesthetica, Dr. Daniel Moghadam is the founder and medical director, and he performs the treatments himself. That matters most in two situations: when something needs to be judged rather than measured — how much product a particular face can carry, whether a device setting is safe for your skin tone — and in the rare event that something goes wrong and needs to be managed immediately.

It also means you get an honest answer when the treatment you asked for is not the treatment you need. Patients regularly arrive asking for filler and leave with a plan that starts somewhere else.

What Glendale Patients Book Most

Glendale Patients Ask

Thirty to forty-five minutes for about 13 miles, depending heavily on time of day. The SR-134 West to US-101 South is the standard route. Los Feliz Boulevard west is often better when the 101 is congested. Avoid the 101 southbound during the morning rush.

Where it is clinically appropriate, yes — and for patients travelling from Glendale we plan it that way deliberately. We schedule extra time and combine treatments in a single appointment rather than having you make the trip repeatedly.

Kybella permanently destroys the fat cells it treats. Sculptra lasts two years or more. Juvederm Voluma lasts up to two years in the cheek. If travel is a factor, tell us and we will weight our recommendations toward longer-lasting options.

No. Hormone therapy is built around laboratory testing and periodic review rather than frequent visits, and bloodwork can often be done at a facility closer to home. That makes it practical for patients who live across town.

It is possible — connect to the B Line and transfer to the D Line, which now serves Wilshire/La Cienega near our office. For most Glendale patients driving is still simpler, but the option exists and avoids parking entirely.

Yes. Given the distance, we are also happy to discuss your goals by phone first at (213) 895-4730 so your visit is as productive as possible.
