Getting Here from West Hollywood

We are one of the closest physician-led practices to West Hollywood without being inside it. From most of WeHo the drive is ten to fifteen minutes.

Driving routes

  • From central WeHo (Santa Monica Blvd): south on San Vicente or La Cienega to Wilshire, then west a few blocks. The most direct option.
  • From the Sunset Strip: south on La Cienega straight to Wilshire — one turn.
  • From West Hollywood West / Melrose: south on Robertson to Wilshire.

Parking is genuinely easy here, which is not something most WeHo patients are used to. We have on-site parking, valet, and metered street parking on Wilshire.

If you would rather not drive, the Metro D Line's Wilshire/La Cienega station — which opened in May and gave Beverly Hills its first rail service since 1954 — is a short distance east of our building.

What West Hollywood Patients Come to Us For

West Hollywood has no shortage of places to get injected. Patients who make the short trip here are usually looking for one of three things.

A correction, or a second opinion

We see a steady stream of patients who were overfilled elsewhere — cheeks stacked with product year after year, lips past what their anatomy can carry. Because hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible, this is fixable. Sometimes the right treatment is dissolving product and starting over with a plan.

Preventative treatment done conservatively

WeHo skews younger than Beverly Hills proper, and a large share of our patients from the area are in their late twenties and thirties starting Botox preventatively. The whole point of starting early is subtlety, which means small doses placed precisely — not a standard tray.

Skin quality rather than volume

RF microneedling and PRP facials are heavily requested by West Hollywood patients dealing with texture, acne scarring, and sun damage — problems injectables cannot solve.

We also treat a significant LGBTQ+ patient population and are listed as an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender-safe practice. Gender-affirming aesthetic goals are discussed the same way any other goal is: what you want, what is achievable, and what it will take.

Why It Matters That a Physician Treats You

Los Angeles has more med spas per square mile than almost anywhere in the country, and the quality range is enormous. At many of them your injector is a technician working from a template, with a supervising physician who is not in the building.

At Modern Aesthetica, Dr. Daniel Moghadam is the founder and medical director, and he performs the treatments himself. That matters most in two situations: when something needs to be judged rather than measured — how much product a particular face can carry, whether a device setting is safe for your skin tone — and in the rare event that something goes wrong and needs to be managed immediately.

It also means you get an honest answer when the treatment you asked for is not the treatment you need. Patients regularly arrive asking for filler and leave with a plan that starts somewhere else.

What West Hollywood Patients Book Most

West Hollywood Patients Ask

About 2.5 miles, which is a ten to fifteen minute drive from most of West Hollywood. From the Sunset Strip you can take La Cienega straight south to Wilshire. We are at 8907 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 270, just inside Beverly Hills near the Los Angeles border.

Both work. We have on-site parking, valet service, and metered street parking on Wilshire — considerably easier than parking in West Hollywood. If you prefer transit, the Metro D Line's Wilshire/La Cienega station opened in May and is a short distance from our building.

Often, yes. If you were treated with hyaluronic acid filler — the Juvederm and Restylane families — it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, usually within a day or two. We see this regularly. Bring whatever records you have about what product was used and when, and Dr. Moghadam will assess what is there before recommending anything.

Yes. Modern Aesthetica is an LGBTQ+ friendly practice and a transgender safe space, and we treat a substantial patient population from West Hollywood. Aesthetic goals are discussed on their own terms — what you want to achieve, what is realistically possible, and what it will take to get there.

Not necessarily, and a lot of our West Hollywood patients are in exactly this position. Preventative Botox uses small doses to soften the muscle activity that carves lines in before they become permanent. The key is conservative dosing tailored to your muscle strength. At your consultation we will tell you honestly if we think you do not need it yet.

Yes, initial consultations are complimentary and there is no obligation to treat the same day. Given how close we are to West Hollywood, many patients come in simply to get a second opinion on a plan they were quoted elsewhere.
