Getting Here from Pacific Palisades

The Palisades is about 12 miles west of us — the longest of our regular Westside trips, but a straightforward one.

Driving routes

  • Sunset Boulevard east — the classic route, winding through Brentwood and Beverly Hills, then south to Wilshire.
  • PCH south to I-10 East — often faster despite the extra distance, exiting at Robertson or La Cienega.
  • Via San Vicente — Sunset to Bundy or Barrington, down to San Vicente east.

Plan twenty-five to forty minutes. Because it is a longer trip, we schedule Palisades patients with extra time so appointments are never rushed and treatments can be combined into a single visit.

How We Work with Palisades Patients

Fewer visits, more done each time

Given the drive, we plan treatment in blocks rather than piecemeal — combining injectables with a skin treatment in one appointment where it is clinically sensible, and spacing follow-ups appropriately. You should not be making a forty-minute drive for something that could have been handled alongside your last visit.

The long view

Many of our Palisades patients are on multi-year plans rather than one-off treatments. That favors approaches that compound — Sculptra for gradual collagen building, consistent modest Botox, and periodic skin treatments. Faces maintained steadily over a decade look considerably better than faces treated heavily and sporadically.

Discretion

Appointments are one-to-one with Dr. Moghadam rather than passed between staff, which patients who value privacy tend to prefer.

Why It Matters That a Physician Treats You

Los Angeles has more med spas per square mile than almost anywhere in the country, and the quality range is enormous. At many of them your injector is a technician working from a template, with a supervising physician who is not in the building.

At Modern Aesthetica, Dr. Daniel Moghadam is the founder and medical director, and he performs the treatments himself. That matters most in two situations: when something needs to be judged rather than measured — how much product a particular face can carry, whether a device setting is safe for your skin tone — and in the rare event that something goes wrong and needs to be managed immediately.

It also means you get an honest answer when the treatment you asked for is not the treatment you need. Patients regularly arrive asking for filler and leave with a plan that starts somewhere else.

What Pacific Palisades Patients Book Most

Pacific Palisades Patients Ask

Twenty-five to forty minutes for about 12 miles. Sunset Boulevard east is the classic route. PCH south to the I-10 East is frequently faster despite covering more distance, especially at peak times.

Yes, and for Palisades patients we actively plan it that way. Where it is clinically appropriate we combine injectables with a skin treatment in a single appointment and schedule extra time so nothing is rushed. You should not be driving forty minutes for something that could have been handled during your last visit.

Yes. Dr. Moghadam performs the treatments himself, so you see the same physician who knows your face and your history. There is no rotating staff, which matters both for consistency of results and for privacy.

Consistency beats intensity. Modest Botox two or three times a year, filler topped up before it fully disappears, and periodic collagen-building treatments such as Sculptra or RF microneedling. Faces maintained steadily over years age considerably better than faces treated heavily and occasionally.

Yes — hormone replacement and optimization therapy for both men and women, beginning with laboratory testing rather than a product recommendation. A number of Palisades patients see us for this alongside or instead of aesthetic treatment.

Yes, and there is no obligation to treat the same day. Given the distance, we are happy to discuss a plan by phone first — call (213) 895-4730 — so your first visit can be productive.
