A straight run north on La Cienega or Crenshaw, with treatment chosen for your skin rather than a template.
Most of South Los Angeles is within about nine miles of our office, connected by the major north-south boulevards.
Twenty-five to thirty-five minutes for most trips.
The aesthetics industry has a deserved reputation for selling treatments people do not need. Our consultations work the other way: Dr. Moghadam assesses what is actually causing the concern you came in with, and if the treatment you asked for will not deliver, you will hear that. Patients regularly arrive asking for filler and leave with a plan that begins with skin treatment instead — or with nothing at all.
You will know how many units, syringes, or sessions are planned and what the total is before treatment begins. No treatment starts without you knowing the number.
Skin tone changes which treatments are safe. Aggressive lasers and deep peels can cause lasting hyperpigmentation in deeper skin tones, while RF microneedling and PRP are considerably safer. That assessment happens before anything is recommended.
Los Angeles has more med spas per square mile than almost anywhere in the country, and the quality range is enormous. At many of them your injector is a technician working from a template, with a supervising physician who is not in the building.
At Modern Aesthetica, Dr. Daniel Moghadam is the founder and medical director, and he performs the treatments himself. That matters most in two situations: when something needs to be judged rather than measured — how much product a particular face can carry, whether a device setting is safe for your skin tone — and in the rare event that something goes wrong and needs to be managed immediately.
It also means you get an honest answer when the treatment you asked for is not the treatment you need. Patients regularly arrive asking for filler and leave with a plan that starts somewhere else.
La Cienega, Crenshaw, or La Brea north will all bring you to the Wilshire corridor — about nine miles and twenty-five to thirty-five minutes. The Metro K Line also connects to the D Line, which now stops at Wilshire/La Cienega near our building.
No. Consultations here regularly end with a recommendation for something less than what the patient came in asking for, or occasionally nothing at all. If the treatment you want will not achieve your goal, you will be told that directly.
Yes, always. You will know the exact number of units, syringes, or sessions planned and the total cost before anything begins. Nothing starts without your agreement on the figure.
RF microneedling and PRP are among the safest options for deeper skin tones, since neither targets pigment. Botox and fillers carry no pigment-related risk. Aggressive laser resurfacing and deep chemical peels carry real risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and we would generally steer you away from those.
Current offers are listed on our promotions page, and we accept credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments. Call (213) 895-4730 to ask about current specials on the treatment you are considering.
